Katina J Rose, did it again and wrote a heartfelt, redeeming love story. This story follows the youngest Ridge brother, Cooper, and his once high school best friend Jo (formally Charlie). I fell in love with this series when I was first introduced to "Saving Maddie" which focused on the eldest brother Wyatt. Since then, I've gotten to read the other stories and fell in love with all of them. This has been one of my favorite small-town, cowboy, series. One of my favorite lines from Cooper is "I've always seen you and I'm sorry I didn't let you know when it counted."

Can't wait to see what else Katina comes up with.

I was not prepared to get so teary eyed as many times as I did during this book. And it wasn’t from sad tears either. This is an emotional and heart melting read. I recommend having tissues nearby.

I love the depth that these characters have. Wyatt and Ari have an amazing chemistry! Everyone grows, learns to trust, love, and be loved throughout this read while finding out what & who their family is. I like the little surprises throughout the book. They sprinkle in just the perfect amount of tension.

Wyatt is blindsided when he finds out he has a daughter and needs help. But he’s not having luck finding a nanny in his middle of nowhere town. Ari is on the run from her past and looking for a fresh start. She takes the job as his nanny. Their lives come with baggage and they both have been hurt before. Both are focused on saving Wyatt’s daughter. But they also save each other along the way.

This is a standalone part of The Ridge Ranch Series. I can’t wait to read the next book
